Nokia and Cambridge Design Nanotech Mobile

Nokia may not be too funky with their mobile phone designs for mass production but you have to admit, their concept designs are something that look, quite literally, out of this world. Morph, a joint Nanotechnology concept, developed by Nokia Research Center (NRC) and the University of Cambridge (UK) – was launched today alongside the “Design and the Elastic Mind” exhibition, at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Morph features in both the exhibition catalog and on MoMA’s official website.

This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen recently. This entire mobile vehicle transforms to become a crazy party building with a stage for performances and dining area for food! Pretty neat.

2 Dutch architects Dries Stevens and Nancy Neukermans have decided to take their frequent travels around Europe to the next level by outfitting their Unimog with flash amenities like a glowing duvet roof, aluminum skylights, and an over-sized bathtub. When they are not traveling for the 6 months out of a year, this mobile-home is parked in the couples’ converted warehouse in Antwerp and is transformed into a luxurious bathroom. Looks pretty cosy to me.
